From Power Hiccups to Ethical Hacking: My Journey into the World of Cybersecurity

Okay!

So there has been a hiccup when it works on my tiny server with a pi-hole and VPN. While working on the project I noticed that the Libre le potato computer would go into a strange loop where it would restart over and over again. When unplugging the keyboard it would boot normally. I realized that it was a power issue and decided to get a new USB outlet for the wall.

I figured out the one I bought was too weak still. I decided well I need a new outlet extender because I have more stuff to plug in and I’m tired of crawling under the desk to unplug and plug stuff that I need to use.

I think I blew a fuse and part of the house is not getting any power. So got to save up and wait on an electrician to stop by and have a look at what’s going on. Yes, I tried the usual look at the circuit breaker and all that jazz. I think it’s because it’s an older house so that may be the issue. So for now I will be scraping the project.

I have been working on Qualys training and have been having a lot of fun!  I’ve been looking at different programs that help protect the user as well. My brain is going in so many different directions in what to talk about so I want to get my thoughts organized and start writing about what I learn.
